Choosing a Wedding Photographer
I understand this is a big decision for you so hope the following couple of points will help you choose the right wedding photographer for you. When the day is over your photos of the day will be the ones that you look back on and trigger fond memories for years to come.
When choosing a wedding photographer have a look at their photos, do you like their style? Do you want lots of set posed shots or more of a documentary style? Whilst good photographers can adjust to give you the photos you ask for, you want to work with someone who’s passionate about the photos they’re taking and that only truly comes through when they’ll happy.
Equally important, is their approach. Do you think you’ll get on and just be yourselves when you with them? Do you think they will get on with your family and friends? You’re going to be spending a lot of time together so having the right person on your team by your side is important.
My Style & Approach
The way I approach weddings is predominantly documentary style. This means I very much focus on capturing you and your guests special moments throughout your day. People have told me what they love about my photos is their natural look when people are being themselves. It’s not just the big moments, it’s the moments that make your day special, from the pre-wedding emotion to the laughter on the back of a child’s comment during the reception.
Truth be told, if you're looking for hours of staged photos on your big day, I'm probably not the right person for you (and that’s ok). Getting a balance between set photos and capturing the impromptu action that goes on is where I can help. The majority of my time will be working in the background capturing photos of you and your guests throughout the day being yourselves, whilst taking the necessary time to capture the more traditional family (and other) photos you’re looking for.

When you book me, you work solely with me. I’ll do the necessary planning to get the best shots at your wedding venue and I’m there on the day taking the photographs. I also edit every single image in my usual style, getting each just right.
